Press Release from DPS:

Dear Denver Families:

Our schools are an important part of our community, and we are helping Denver Public Schools share information about the SchoolChoice enrollment process. SchoolChoice was launched by DPS last year, and it is a simple, streamlined system that is used for researching, selecting, and applying to all DPS schools, regardless of whether they are DPS charter or district-run schools. To learn more about the publications and events listed below, please visit

SchoolChoice kicks off in October, with the publication of the DPS Enrollment Guides—which give families detailed information about the full range of elementary, middle, and high schools available in DPS to serve their children—and the DPS Middle & High School Expo, which will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 23 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Infinity Park Event Center, 4400 E. Kentucky Ave. The Expo features principals and staff from virtually every DPS middle and high school, and it is a great opportunity for families to see the array of schools and programs that are available to meet the distinct learning needs of their children. Please visit or call (720) 423-3414 to learn more about the Expo.

And to further assist families, this year for the first time DPS is offering a user-friendly website: that lets parents and students research and review schools and programs online.

Throughout the SchoolChoice period, DPS will host a wide range of school and community events, in multiple languages, that will help families do more in-depth exploration of the schools they’re interested in and to assist them in making their selections for the SchoolChoice process. In addition to the citywide Expo, there will be Regional School Expos across Denver to provide parents with information about the elementary, middle, and high schools in their neighborhood.
