Colorado’s Controversial Teacher-Reform Bill

Although many teachers are opposed to Senate Bill 191 (a bill that would change how teachers earn and keep tenure in Colorado), lawmakers have voted in favor of it (rumor has it, the Governor will sign it soon). When the Governor signs the bill, will this put Colorado in a better place to receive millions of dollars for the second round of the federal education grant competition, Race to the Top?
