I too went through the whole process of whether to look in the burbs for schools or stay here in Denver! All I can say is that "School Choice" is a wonderful option for parents and there are more and more public schools here in Denver, putting forth an effort to reach higher academic standards. I can't wait to go through all your posts. One quick correction, my son's ECE (Montessori at Lincoln Elem.) starts at age 3, not 4. He will be in the same class for 3 years with great teachers! The program is relatively new but growing in popularity. There is a waiting list for 3 year olds for Fall 09. Thank you so much for doing this. I can’t wait to go through all your posts.

Our family still may move to Golden in order to live in a zone with a school that we are comfortable with, because I honestly may give in to the idea of a master bath, a school bus, a cul du sac, and a Kinder class with less than 29 students, but we are hoping to stay in Denver and live the dream.
