It is a truly wonderful school. The principal is great and the teachers are fantastic. The diversity is wonderful - it's great that our kids have friends from so many different backgrounds. I know I'm biased, but I can't say enough good things about it. In a completely objective evaluation, it is ranked as one of the top 25 elementary schools in the Denver area in the latest issue of 5280 magazine. As for the issues with the building, this is the last year in this location. The school has a new facility lined up and will be moving next summer. All the classrooms will have doors in the new building. We have two children at Highline and we love it. It is a truly wonderful school. The principal is great and the teachers are fantastic.
