Hello Jennifer,

Thank you for your comment! We are aware that there is a new Principal but haven't had a chance to make the update yet along with a few others. We are thrilled to hear about your "green" cafeteria, garden and composting initiatives. Go Edison! We are actually working on a post about DPS lunches and how some are starting a pilot program for healthy lunches. I believe it's called 4H. Keep an eye out for the post!

Hi TwoScoops - Edison has a new Principal as of this fall. Sally Whitelock was an AP at Brown Elementary previously. We also have a new AP, but I cannot remember her name.

We boast the 'greenest' cafeteria in DPS - scratch cooking, salad bar, reusable trays and silverware, a huge garden full of produce, and we are investigating large-scale composting.
